Traded the Spyder in today for a new KLR-650 and some cash. It was getting to be too much of a hassle to transport it to Houston whenever I needed work done. It had been at Mancuso for several weeks for minor work and to get the new DPS installed so I decided to get something that I could work on myself. I have some extra parts and accessories that I may post for sale later on. Its been great meeting a lot of fellow Spyder Riders and who knows, maybe down the road I'll be back on a Spyder again! Sorry to see you leave the group. The Spyder offers something very unique but, as you know, that quality has its price. The price is primarily in ease of service, which seems to be quite hard where you are. Maybe some day you'll feel that price isn't too much to pay for the other pleasures of a Spyder. In the meantime, enjoy the KLR and best wishes!

Hate to hear it. We are just starting to make headway with dealers. I understand the frustration in service. Ride safe.

Sad to hear the Spyder didn't work out for you.
Once a SpyderLover, always a SpyderLover though. Hope you'll still be coming to some of the rides and events.
FB's BBQ would be a great time to show off your new ride, enjoy some good food and friendship.

No signing off for you :lecturef_smilie:

I know how you feel just had mine in at Mancuso and it was there for 6 weeks it was there 2 weeks before they checked it to see what was wrong then ordered the parts and they where back ordered. very frustrating. I enjoy riding my spyder but this is not exceptable they don't seem to relize that some folk ride their spyder to work and use it for transportation.

Sorry to know you're still having problems. Missed you and Terri at Flamingobabe and HotGlue's shindig Saturday. Folks were asking about you guys. You could have come on the Harley and Terri could have escorted you on her RS....
