Anyone know who makes this stereo/speaker setup?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230785673417&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123#ht_500wt_737

I emailed the seller, however, he did not know.

Looks like a very (well done) custom job. Gonna be hard to determine most likely.

They sure look like custom work but you can get these from jl audio. :)

i'm about to start on new speaker pods to go on the dash of my g s . they will consist of 5 1/4 speakers mounted in 6 inch pvc pipe couplings. couplings will be shortened to just hold the speaker and be mountable right over the dash vents. then i will move my dwg waterproof speakers to the backrest area. head unit is in trunk. i'll post it in mods sec.

LARRY, I saw those quite awhile ago...but for the life of me I can't remember anything except I thought it was way overpriced for a fiberglass housing JIMHO...Mike..

I had built same set up, just low enough to clear the handlebar (i had 2" riser block so had more room than stock handlebar) but enclosure was too small for Polk audio 5 1/4". At the time I was planning to build a subwoofer box so that was by design but by themselves, they sounded pretty sad, no bass and distorted prematurely. Sounded somewhat like them dwg speakers, still better but not worth the effort better, to me.

Good info, thanks all. I'm not sure that thing will work with my Corbin fairing, so, I think I'm going to shelve this!

yeah, i can't help myself. since my radio has four speaker outputs and i'm only using two of them.................... i think i can do it for less than fifty bones. we shall see. it's all according to how much you want to spend on the actual speakers. i guess you could call it my hobby:roflblack: since i don't have any other hobbies :roflblack:  once again, i discovered ak1004 's thread on this mod AFTER i bought the dwg speakers:banghead: last year, but they have been o k .
