Spyder Wreck March 30 SH-290

Any one know much about the wreck on US-290 back on March 30 in front of Cavender's Boot Store? I know I went to the location after the bike was removed and I heard that it was a fatal wreck where the driver of the Spyder lost control when hitting the curb in front of Calender's Boot Store. Silver Spyder I believe.

Hadn't heard anything about that one. A week or so ago, there was an accident involving a red RT on, I believe highway 288, that looked pretty bad. Hadn't been able to find much about that one either. Video footage suggested that someone rear-end the RT.

I have a photo from the freeway, but you cannot really see the Spyder due to a pickup truck in the way. The reports say no other vehicles where in involved, but he did a mess to the parked pickup. Last report from HPD stated it was a black Can Am Spyder.

I may hit a sore spot here but what I've been noticing is that novice riders have been pushing thresholds/limits without realizing the consequences of hurting or killing somebody. These machines are different for everybody, even the most experienced riders, and you gotta excise caution or something bad is gonna happen..Remember the things they teach in rider school...most importantly, watch everything and pay attention...BRP is advertising hard for the novice rider, citing there's no motorcycle license required to do the demo ride and I don't blame them...they're after the market...The responsibility rests with the driver...don't place your life or passengers life before your driver responsibilities...or the life of others that may be involved.
Drive responsible, be cautious and protect not only your life, but the life of others.

Wow...that's awfull. Hate to hear that kind of stuff, but it seems like anymore there's not a week that goes by without reading or hearing about a motorcycle accident in the Houston area. By the way, did you get my PM?
