My spyder was leaking oil again and had a constant fault of the blimp sensor. I went to mora's Spyder dealer caswell cycle(180 miles one way from dirt town) which are awesome, I slept there because they found out both lower cylinder gaskets and then BRP had to sent a whole new throttle body set because they were wore out for some reason.....

But then on reassembly a piston ring broke and they had to order one but I had to work. So fast forward getting a ride from disreputable types (my family) then Butch and Paula's daughter Heather got me to work a hour late and I was up over 25 hours at the end of my shift and I have to work every day till monday when I leave for SPYDERFEST. So Caswells had a ride today and Butch and Paula were kind enough to ride my spyder up to longville where my Girl Heather grabbed it and brought it back to dirt town when I was working here.

I can't say enough about how great spyderlovers is for stuff like this, Spyderlover's is chuck full of awesome people.

Did I mention it was 36 degrees and raining today? And that its still going into random limp mode with a DPS fault. I think the sensors are bad and or the powersteering is bad. Why would it go into fault in the rain though?

Awesome! Spyderlovers are some of the nicest people I've ever met, no joke.

I mean how many times can you do over an engine!!??? But I figure with determination and pure guts you'll be at spyderfest!!! ONE WAY OR TUTHER!!! Drive safe and good luck on your "limp" problems.

Hey helping is what "families" do!
This whole adventure coincided with me picking up my new spyder, so I got a great break in ride to boot, 311 miles from Mora to Longville and down to North Branch...the whole day (home to home) was 350 miles long! Not exactly a dry day, nor a warm one, so all our gear got a good work out too. Now Seth just needs to figure out the limp home thing or it is seriously going to slow him down to stop, turn the bike off, then re-start and go again!!!!;)

Maybe you should give him one of your GG's for performance testing

A written request from BRP addressed to Grüter + Gut GmbH and a place for SethO's 2008 GS at the J. Armand Bombardier Museum(1001 J.A.Bombardier Avenue, Valcourt, Quebec Canada, J0E 2L0). ;)

If it goes to a museum then Butch was lucky to get to ride the "death machine", but I don't know what the streets of dirt town would be like without Seth tearing them up on the death machine!
