I have an HJC IS-33 helmet that has a sun visor. I would like to find a darker visor. I have googled the helmet and visor but all I can see is the same visor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I googled "HJC IS-33" visor and found a number of site that sell a smoke or dark smoke visor. Example:

I picked up a mirror like one... Reminded me of the 70s... Was hesitant at first... But wow,no glare. Plus you can double as a star wars character if you walk right 😃

:agree: - Once you try a mirrored shield you'll never go back. Much better vision, better detail, brighter image without the glare. I rode into a tunnel in New Mexico once with a dark smoke shield on a very bright day. Could not see a thing! Very bad!

Decided to spring for a mirrored shield and that was the last dark smoke shield I ever owned.

You can wear the mirrored shields from right at sunrise to sunset and see just fine. Not so with a dark smoke shield.

I'm waiting for someone to come up with a transition visor.

Love my E-Tint visor. Have had it a year. No more worrying about changing from sunglasses to my normal glasses. Highly recommend the E-tint visor Company stands by their product.

I tried the e-tint -- before Reggy sold them... and to be honest I didn't like it.

1. It doesn't get very dark... like maybe 30%... where a real dark one goes to like 60-80.
2. At night (when turned off) it gave a terrible 'halo' effect from oncoming traffic. Then I read the disclaimer and they say they are not recommended for night-time riding. HUH??? Kinda defeats the purpose if you can't use it at night.

That being said... the technology is pretty cool and will get better I'm sure. A variable adjustable one would be awesome.

Thanks Firefly. I can always count on you for a no B.S. review of a product.
