Here's my choices for the best bourbons, served over ice cubes only. A close look will tell you that I am a serious fan of "wheated" bourbons! Anyone have one to add to the list?

My favorite is the very mellow WL Weller, but the rare one is the George T Stagg on the left that is only available once a year and costs over $80 a bottle, it is uncut, unfiltered and 142 proof ! :ohyea:

Not a bourbon, but here is my current favorite whiskey.

I like regular Makers Mark, the Jim Beam Black is pretty good too. Tried Devils Cut and found it to be a little on the "develish side". Good ol Jack Daniels isn't bad either.

I rarely find a premium whiskey that I don't like on the rocks.

You gotta feel sorry for people that don't drink,
When they wake up in the morning that's as good as they're going to feel all day. ;)

Add Knob Creek and Woodford Reserve to the favorites list...

If you want to go the scotch route, I strongly suggest saving your pennies from forgone Spyder mods and splurging for a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue. That stuff is magical.

I would have to add Crown Royal Black to that amazing group.

One addition item would be Bourbon Cream :yes:created by Buffalo Trace Distrillery. It's just like an Irish Cream but made with Bourbon.

I am going to just wonder how you know this, but then again I am usually "that guy" at the party that laughs at things people use in normal talking that slang has hybridized into evil.

If you can find it there, try the WL Weller Special Reserve (white label). It is a wheated bourbon, like MM, but not quite as sweet in flavor. If you cant find it there, see me at LadyBug campground at SpyderFest and we can have a "tasting" !

Save a lot of pennies. $200.00 a bottle, but man, that stuff is soooo good. Don't ruin it with ice or anything else.
