Has anyone put the F4 wider windsield on their Spyder

Hi, I was wondering has anyone tried the F4 wider windshield on their RT. I had one on my Goldwing and really liked it. Please let me know if you have tried this windshield and what you think of it. Thanks

Yes, I have one on my 2012 Ltd and really like it. Top quality too. See pic below.

WOW that is really wide. How is it for buffeting? Does it take some of the buffeting off your passenger?

I purchased the Sport Tall windshield for my Spyder RT -S SE5 2010 Model

It was purchased from Custom Dynamics and was shipped to the UK

It was model No F4 - SRT PLSD3 - W-C = This was 3" taller than stock and 2.5 wider than stock
I found it was too tall even on the lowest setting although I liked the exta width as it gives better weather protection
and you can also hear the on-board speakers better

I had this windsheild cut down to about 4" lower than stock (24" High) but kept the width the same

The Sport Tall windshield is no longer shown on the custom dynamics website but they do have - The Sports wide clear windshield
which is 3" Shorter than stock and 2.5" wider than stock - Item No F4-SRT-SPRT-W-C

This option was not available when I purchased my windshield - If I need to replace my windshield this would be the one I would go for
