I never wore a jacket in the warmer months but I quess I am getting older and hopefully wiser. The riders that do wear a warm weather jacket what do you recommend? I am open to any and all suggestions.

I wear a reflective mesh jacket in the summer, it has a jip out line so it does double duty if cools at night. I has all the pads necessary for protection but allows the maximum cooling short of no coat. When it gets over 80 even that is too much for me, I am from the north coast we seldom see temps over 75. When I travel in Nevada and the likes I travel without it at lower speeds.

Randy

I wear the Tourmaster Intake 2 jacket all year. I have ridden in 20 degree weather up to 108 degree weather. It has the outside textile jacket with protection where you need it along with a rain liner and insulated liner.

I have had one of these jackets for 4 years now and absolutely love it!

Revzilla.com has them for $179 with free shipping.

Firstgear mesh jacket, With armor, I've been using the same jacket since 1999, Once you get to 50 +mph and the temps are under 60 degrees the air going though the mesh actually cools you too much, But when the temps are 80/90/100, there the greatest thing since the invention of ice.

My wife and I wear FirstGear jackets and they keep us cool in the hot Georgia summers and dry when it rains.

I wear the Mesh-Tex jacket from 1st Gear. Great cooling, light weight, great armor and I think they look great too! There are plenty of choices in the Mesh jacket arena. That's because they really do work well.

For when its hot (high 60 and up) I have a mesh jacket. I also have a very nice perforated leather jacket from First gear--I do not believe they make that model any more.

I wear a t-shirt. Where I'm from, when it's hot out you don't wear a jacket. :dontknow:

If you are riding in the sun, a mesh jacket is actually cooler than a t-shirt, because it shades your skin. It also reduces the wind blowing on your arms, slowing dehydration.
