The Warriors' Watch Riders have been asked to escort 9/11 artifacts from the Pentagon to Philadelphia. All SpyderLovers are welcome.

Brian's Harley Davidson is providing a sweeper for us tomorrow. Woody wiill be pulling the Brian's HD trailer. If anyone breaks down you're covered. I have informed Woody of the Brians rally point tomorrow at 7 in case he wants to follow youse down.
NOTE: Dress in layers. It'll be chilly when you set out, but the forecast for D.C. is Sunny and near 70 degrees.

We lucked out with the weather. Any remaining scattered sprinkles on Thursday morning will clear out and temps will go up into the 50s again.
Just off the phone with Writ. We will determine exact stopping places before we set out.
Someone reminded me that, if we go through the tunnel, we can not carry gasoline. It isn't really a good idea anyway, so please do not carry gas
I am going to try to get a sweeper vehicle with trailer, just in case.
Upon our departure from Philadelphia, we will leave the city with lights and sirens. Lights on the trip down, then lights and sirens again in Washington.
When we arrive back home to Philly, we will be met by Philly Highway Wheels for the remainer of the ride to the Roundhouse.
A news helecopter will follow us for much of the ride.
All of this is very cool - but lets also remember the solumn purpose of this.
A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY - THIS THURSDAY, 3/1
There is a non-profit called Phila911 that was formed to build a memorial to the fallen officers of 9/11 in Philadelphia. The members of that committee include Commissioner Ramsey and other brass in the Phila. PD.
They have asked us, Warriors' Watch, to form an escort to the Pentagon to pick up some artifacts from the 911 attack and bring it back to Philadelphia.
THIS WILL BE A FULLY POLICE-ESCORTED RIDE FROM PHILLY TO PENTAGON AND BACK WITH SEVERAL POLICE VEHICLES, LIGHTS ON. It will also be a media event.
This is an opportunity for you to be a part of the creation of a Philly 9/11 memorial from the very beginning.
