I built 5 spyders last year for SpyderFest. This year we are doing it again but just to make it Easier and better my plan is to build 10 this year, 5 to presale and 5 to have present at the event, last year people seem to like them but a few wanted or needed them early. So this year we are doing both. We are build the bikes with a spyderfest discount and install all the mods at a cost, so builds in a big savings and makes for some pretty special spyders..........Here's where I need you vote and help, Outside of custom paint from Farris customs, what do you all want to see for accessories? I'm taking the top 10 and building the bikes Spyderlovers style with the mods you all say are the best! Thanks for your help looking forward to your suggestions!

I'm gonna go WAY outside the box Len.

Make 10 unique ones. Does it change the cost per 1? Absolutely, does it make them all different, hard to get together, or whateva? Most likely.

But Every Spyder is unique, why shouldnt all the spyders from Spyderfest Edition be unique.

10 models, 10 themes, 10 people.

"The Spyderfest Extreme Sound Edition"
"The Spyderfest Extreme Handling Edition"
etc... etc... etc...

Just saying. Its a different idea on a different idea.

Thanks guys, I like the idea of doing a few diffrent, and will look into to it, The third tail light, and elkas seem to be pretty popular. Just want to make the spyders, spyderlover style! cost is always an issue but will do my best to keep the costs aslow as possible.

If you do a stealth unit with detector, use matte paint and apply the materials folks use to keep the headlight from reflecting laser, add a GPS with speed & red light camera warnings, etc. - you could do a whole stealth themed unit.

hey Len I have been contemplating this for a while, just like on the Ford Shelby 500 the entire lower body kit is Carbon Fiber. What if you took all the black plastic and molded them in Carbon Fiber on a white or red Spyder it would be outstanding and very very light and strong. You Could even do the front A Arm covers. Carbon Fiber is easy to work with it is just time consuming but I think the look would out way the effort. I am thinking of doing this mod next winter I have a friend who works with this material on a daily basis so I can learn from a master. Or even an easier idea would be to do what you guys did with the painted look of carbon fiber on the dash just use a few more coats of clear......just a thought see you in June for the upgrade to my 2011 rt limited

A lot has been posted. I agree with the option for handle bar extensions. Add to that the highway pegs. The above helps those if us who are fun size and inseam challenged. The 3rd brake light would be a great added safety feature. I did not include some of the things that are standard options on the RT Performance which already has lots of neat add ons
