Well we left on sunday from Houston, Tx area...road to Biloxi, Ms...had a free jacuzzi room and buffet....then donated our $$$ to the Grand so we can have another free room and buffet......and left monday...late morning and headed north to Cullman, Al....our destination to meet our friends who are from Virginia.....after arrival we had dinner and a few drinks with good friends.....Tuesday morning we met up with hotwing...aka Wayne who lives in Cullman and owns the Downtown Grill...they serve up some mighty good hotwings....but for desert they offer: fried twinkles, fried strawberry shortcake and fried banana pudding...MmmmMmmm good! If you are ever in the area of Cullman Alabama...stop in at the Downtown Grill.

we all rode out to The Shrine http://www.co.cullman.al.us/Press/attractions_shrine.htm it was very interesting

then we all rode over to the Barber Museum...that was great....lots of old and new bikes...we realy enjoyed it

back to Cullman for dinner and then to hotel for drinks and final visit with friends....it was a good visit...

FB and I were just talking..... looks like rain tomorrow.....But Hey.... We've been wet before..LOL...besides I don't melt... I just get lumpy.... our plan is to go to Blessing,Tx... and partake of the turkey , dressing, and all the sides that go with it..... All home cooked, and served buffet and kept warm on old wood burning stoves.....
The Blessing Hotel was built about the same time as our house was.., 1906..... over 100 years old! Cool place and GOOD food!!!!!
