I'm posting this not to deride the alternative choices, but to simply show that others have their problems too.

That's a pretty large number of bikes to recall... I hope that they've got a good solution worked up for it. Since the rarest Harley is the one with the stock exhaust, I wonder if they have to concern themselves with all of the bikes that have been "re-exhausted"? (Is that a word???) :D

I bet BRP wished they had 300,000 Spyders out there. :doorag:

Anything with a motor is suseptible to issues. We just seem to hear more about the bad than the good is all, which makes it seem like something is worse than it really is.

Yep!! yep, I agree, all manufactures, cycles, cars, etc. are a hang'n on bye the skin of they teeth, so, it's all about PRODUCTION, PRODUCTION, and it's amounts too quanity, not quality!!!, & the customer's are really gett'n tired of gett'n ripped off, thus us cuctomer's are hesitant on buy-ing ???? AMEN from ole colo.

And things without motors, too. I recall a bicycle recall several years ago due to cracking of aluminum forks ... not a pleasant thing to contemplate. :(

That is a pretty large recall. Like the man said--just shows that BRP is not the only brand that can have issues.

Dude.... DUDE.

I don't get it. You KNOW you're going that fast on a bicycle, why not dress for the slide, not the ride? I'd be as geared up as if I were on a Moto GP bike if I did that (of course, that might not matter at all given that's VOLCANIC ROCK... ouch).
