It’s the time of year for seeing ghosts and goblins, and scary people, like bikers. Especially scary bikers dressed up scary.

We are going to have a Halloween Ryde. We’ve done one in this area for the past few years (photos from 09 https://picasaweb.google.com/GManALR331/Haloween09 (https://picasaweb.google.com/GManALR331/Haloween09) and 10 https://picasaweb.google.com/GManALR331/HalloweenRun2010 (https://picasaweb.google.com/GManALR331/HalloweenRun2010) are viewable on the Chapter web-site). We’ve had a great time with this, and the kids love it too.

On Sunday, 30 October, we’ll meet at Joe (xman) Peschon’s house at 1300 (1:00 pm), 19965 Simmons Rd. Waynesville (Hunter’s Point). If you have trouble finding it, call me.

Right now the weather looks like it will be about 60 degrees and dry.

Please wear a Halloween costume. Keep safety and the operation of your motorcycle in mind. Hanging things that may get caught in moving parts, chains, belts, etc. Things that may melt on pipes. Masks that limit visibility.

Bring lots and lots of candy for handing out to the kiddies.

Lisa O'Rourke will be driving the van along with us. Extra candy can be placed in the van between stops, so you won’t have to try to carry it on your bike. (Thanks Lisa)

We’ll depart Joe's house at about 1330 (1:30 pm).

First stop will be Wal-Mart. We’ll hand out candy for about 30 minutes.

Second stop will be Lowe’s. We’ll hand out candy for about 30 minutes.

Third stop will be the best Halloween decorated house in the state of Missouri. Hang out, chit-chat, photo op.

Last stop will be Price Cutters. Hand out candy for about 30 minutes.

Then we’ll have dinner at the Price Cutters Café.

What a great way to spend an afternoon.

Thanks to all who turned out for the third annual Halloween Ride. This annual event draws bigger numbers each year. This year we had friends from four groups; American Legion Riders, Street Senze, SpyderLovers, and Warriors' Watch Riders, their families and other friends. There were 20 bikes in the procession, four autos, and about 35 people. We had a great time.

From The MOGANG there were
Joe (xpeschon) Peschon (our elustrious host and tour guide)
The Pitbull Buggy

BumbleBee

Looks like a great time. Sorry we missed it. I was going to dress like Jeanie and Connie was going to dress like Major Nelson.,, wait. It might have been the other way around.

Glad you all had fun. Wish we lived closer!
