The Balloon Festival is Oct. 21 -23 anyone going to this. Wow barbecue and balloons this could be fun.:thumbup:

Balloon Festival is in Statesville NC. Barbecue festival is in Lexington NC. Statesville to Lexington is a hour ride.

I may ride up from Charlotte and check this out on Sunday. Was hoping to take a balloon ride but $225 per person? Wow.

Sorry I missed that, I didn't join this group in time, but I will be there for 2012 for sure. I just joined now and will be active in the western area of NC for anyone interested in rides. I'm halfway between Statesville and Asheville.
