I hope I'm like that at 89!! I wonder if he is the gentleman I saw at the (shell?) gas station /burger joint in Maggie Valley? I was looking out my hotel window and watched with interest an older gent, sitting against his RT, by himself, eating a half pint of ice cream! I headed down to chat with him , and he was gone by the time I got there.

I bought my Spyder when it had 3400 miles and bought it from a gentleman that was 86 and he was in a hurry. As soon as we were done he and his wife was heading to Florida for fun.

I wonder if the gent in Maggie Valley was the one who sat on my RT in a gas station on the SC line. He was 88 at the time and having a bit of difficulty holding his BMW up. Said he lived in Asheville. I gave him one of the cards that BRP supplied us what with the pictures and all. If that's him, that would be way cool.

His 2nd wife died in 2004 her name was Lola.....he said he didn't have any intentions of ever getting married again. he also had put more miles on the Spyder than you have. May not be the same one.;)
