Unattended Veterans Service
Washington Crossing National Cemetery

Warriors' Watch Riders
RALLY POINT: APPLEBEES, 2 WEST ROAD, NEWTOWN, PA.
... RALLY TIME, HIGH NOON. DEPARTURE FROM RALLY POINT, 1300
Military Honors will be performed in honor of those veterans interred in the month of August who had no one attending their service.
The names will be read, the Pennsylvania Military Honors team will present the flag to a cemetery volunteer who will receive the flag on behalf of all of the veterans. The Guardians will perform the rifle salute and provide live Taps if available. If not, the electronic bugle will be used.
The burial schedule has been blocked off after the 1:30 time slot to allow for our ceremony.
Feel free to invite anyone you wishI attended this ceremony last month. There were around 20 people there on a rainy day. It is my desire to see double the people this month. It is a new mission that the Cemetery is doing. People don't know about this and I'm trying to get the word out. If you can attend a service for our past
hero's please come out and stand in the flag line.
