Well, it's been a terribly long time since I've been able to post, but thankfully it's all for good reasons. First, I hope everyone is doing well! Second, wanted to fill you in on a ryde our Central Texas Spyder's group did recently (well, really over a month ago, but I'm just too dang busy to get to this until now!)

This time, we went to the Highlander in Burnet, TX. This was for a Breakfast Buffet, and MAN, what a buffet it was!

This is the route I personally took (http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Co+Rd+110%2FSouthwestern+Blvd&daddr=30.61991,-97.64948+to:30.54622,-97.75244+to:30.58784,-98.19563+to:Highlander+Restaurant+Llc,+401+Buchana n+Dr+%23+11,+Burnet,+TX+78611-2333+to:30.7258109,-98.0195261+to:30.63637,-97.79284+to:30.6318,-97.73959+to:30.6340482,-97.722066+to:30.6329162,-97.696569+to:W+University+Ave&hl=en&ll=30.585908,-97.929382&spn=0.505397,1.056747&sll=30.60822,-97.69455&sspn=0.126321,0.264187&geocode=FQJ00wEdFtst-g%3BFQY50wEduPwt-inX6DsXAddEhjG0tqU6Co5fyA%3BFSwZ0gEdiGos-inLs9mtDdNEhjHrgBHtK7HHtw%3BFcC70gEdUqcl-ikfglzB9h5bhjH7O5sXXVx3fw%3BFdNT1QEdDCEl-iHdPkzalxuMZCn9TjLfJORahjFW5DDvuReA6g%3BFbLW1AEdOl co-il9FRuSaNlahjGykbH0JrABZA%3BFVJ50wEduMwr-ikh7bFmyCpbhjG4HkpenDJxag%3BFXhn0wEdupws-imxCyZwCNVEhjHXLsjzj2rF5A%3BFUBw0wEdLuEs-ilFPwlCuNVEhjEX1v2gaM58ew%3BFdRr0wEdx0Qt-imTNfsGeNZEhjEsRqNL0iuH3Q%3BFRht0wEdWo0t-g&vpsrc=6&mra=dme&mrsp=10&sz=13&via=1,2,3,5,6,7,8,9&t=m&z=11), although we met as a group at one of our usual spots near 183 and 1431 (good central place).

We had a good amount of people able to meet us and we took off in beautiful 85 degree weather! Morning ryding in Texas is THE way to go, without a doubt!

As many of you have read in previous diaries, 1431 is amazingly fun! It's curvey, open, and filled with great scenery! The buffet itself had a ton of food on it and if you are nearby, I highly recommend this place! For less than $9 bucks I had OJ and a buffet that included pancakes, french toast, bagels, bacon, sausage, turkey sausage, bacon, eggs, juevos rancheros, morning potatoes, bacon, cereal, bacon, toast, bacon, and... yes, bacon. Lob on some fresh fruit, coffee, and Belgian waffles, and the place has enough to make you full the rest of the day!

After loosening my belt, I had to unfortunately leave, but took a direct route back to Georgetown, TX down highway 29. Straight, open, and again, great landscape made it a great ryde home!

Since this one, I had a chance to meet our group for dinner with my wife at a local sports bar, where we were wowed by one of our leader's new TricLED lights (will work on a pic of this as it's amazing, her RT looks like a light cycle!).

Hopefully I'll have more time and more rydes to post soon, but wanted to take a moment and check in, say hi, and drop off the info :-)
