Hi All !!

Well I ordered the Seal RT SE5 DLX (diamond plate vinyl floorboards with chrome trim).
Got them today (SUPER fast shipping), installed them and went for a ride. All I can say is,"WOW".
Night & day from the foot pegs. There is umpteen places for you to put your feet (from the floorboard itself to the highway peg area).
Installation was a breeze and I didn't have to know rocket science !!! :-)
All I can say is, these floorboards are GREAT !!! You've got a real winner here John !!! :2thumbs:

:2thumbs: I got the same about a month ago. Just be careful when panic braking--till you can find it from anywhere your feet are planted.

I do like these floorboards though.

Thanks Tommy,

Seal FloorBoards lives or dies on the reviews my customers post. Sunny and warm today. Think I'll go for a nice ride after I get my shipping done.

I have been throwing serious hints to the wife about these for quite sometime now. I just emailed this review to her. I just wonder if she will take the hint. I sent the link to her a few days ago. :2thumbs:

At Spyderfest last April I saw several Spyders with the Seal Floorboards installed. I liked the concept but didn't like the angled section that serves as a highway peg. I have the ESI highway peg supports with the Kuryakyn ISO Wings and I really like them because they allow me to stretch out a little while riding. The only problem with the Seal Floorboards is that they block access to my ISO Wings so it wasn't an option for me. But now that the Seal PUP Floorboards became available I have a great solution for a comfortable floorboard option and still have my highway pegs. Installation was easy and took me about an 1 1/2 hours. They look great and feel even better. Here are some pictures of the finished install.

Those look awesome. Now if I can figure out how to get one or two of those pictures over to my website. They would make a great addition to my Gallery Page.

WOW, Y-Rider I like your setup. I like how you Highway pegs do not stick out sideways on a strange angle and that the floorboards are directly below for when you change leg positions. The new sealfloor boards look awesome with the chrome trim and rubber diamond plate pattern

One thing I have never liked with any of the highway pegs is how they come out under the bottom and look like they were an afterthought (which they were), and not a built in look. The only ones the looked okay to me were the ones that sat on top of the black plastic at the bottom. With these floor boards, it hides those arms that brings the pegs up and makes it look alot cleaner. Now I may be interested. May have to call the bank for another loan, lol. ;)

Cool Hank,

I have them in stock ready to ship. I too hate the "tacked on" look that lots of mods have. I think a mod should look like it's part of the bike, not an after thought. Guess that's what 42 yr. as a sculptor has done to me:dontknow:.

and got them installed in between raindrops... rain should end this evening and can't wait to give them a ride...

One thing, John- Easy install really, but the instructions should mention to reuse the heavy cast iron fitting from underneath the foot peg. Not intuitive on first look. Only clue was the length of the bolts.

But like I said, easy install, look great and appear comfortable, at least sitting in the garage!

Thank you all your pre-sales support, John.

Hi FrankPa,

It was my pleasure working with you. Many do not replace the cast iron weight. It is for vibration dampening and the weight of the FloorBoards do that just fine. Hate to say it but I used those long bolts because my finger dexterity makes shorter bolts a real problem for these old fingers. Use them or don't, it's up to you.

John
