"A Space Ship has landed in Kyle, TX -- it came from BRP." Today, I arrived home after traveling from near Amarillo on my 2010 Air Force blue RTS-SE5. Other than the weather being 105 degrees, the ryde and performance were great. As already witnessed on other threads, every fuel stop involved curious people admiring the Spyder. I look forward to ryding with other Spyder owners in central Texas AFTER the high temps average 85 degrees. :D

Hope you join the Central Texas SpyderRiders group for a ride if and when it cools off here in Texas.

You are tougher than me....it's been over 100 degrees for about 22 days in a row...just too hot....been staying in and enjoying the air conditioner.....when it cools down to about 85 degrees we'll plan a ride to Frederickbrgs...an overnighter...it'll be fun...I live south of Houston

Today was our 39th or 40th day over 100....the record two years ago was 58 days...hey, another record coming our way... :yikes:

In my area, we have had a total of 1/2" of rain since January. Anyone want to buy a slightly used lawn mower?

I sure hope it cools down by Labor Day weekend because I might be swinging by Dallas on a BBQ run to Vicksburg. :D

I wouldn't count on it!! I'm thinking this year we'll be swimming in the pool until November!

We've had such a wet summer up here that I bought goats...In November I'll just "invite " them to Thanksgiving Dinner and get fresh ones next Spring... :roflblack:
