G'day Freakzilla, I have done 15,000 k's on my RS with MCcruise control fitted, have no probs with recommending it. Only prob I've had was caused by dealer fitting with kinked vac hose, causing probs with Spyder's fuel regulator. It ran rough, hesitated, and stalled. Replaced kinked hose, Spyder runs properly again. With wisdom of hindsight, I'd fit it myself and not let dealers touch my Spyder unless absolutely necessary. MC cruise are good, friendly, knowledgeable blokes to deal with, ( unlike certain Spyder dealers), answered my questions over the phone and emailed more info to me. C/C allows me to rest my paws on long trips (no more pins and needles) and helps avoid speeding fines. Not real cheap at around 950 clams, but I don't mind paying proper money for a quality product. Let us know how you go. Goodvybrations, NSW Australia.

Audiovox makes one, it was tested on here. It's a universal type application and they weren't thinking motorcycle use, so the controller needs an enviromentally sealed box(Pelican brand?) and you will need to rig up the solenoid that actuates the throttle body. Lamonster was one on here that used one, mayve he'll chime in.

I recommend the RTS with factory installed cruise control. The aftermarket stuff can be good--but if not installed correctly--you could run into serious problems with the computer on the :spyder2:.

And by W and I - works as good as the one on my Beemer. Support from Tony in OZ is amazing! Install guide is one of the best. If you are near MN, can help with the install.

I used a Throttlemeister cruise control on my 08 SM5 but do not know if that would work on your particular model. I also liked it because each one weighs close to a pound and helped reduce vibration in the handlebars. I was please with how it performed.
