Does any Spyder promos cost the dealership? For instance they are offering the TRT-622 Promo that gives you $400 in Gear for free. Does that cost the dealership anything?

I got the $400 promo for my RT-622. The dealer offfered me too options. Either $400 in accessories or $300 off the trailer price. Evidently BRP is giving the dealerships $300 in credit for the sale.

So then it really does not cost them anything, they actually get extra money for using the promo.

I don't know that they get extra money. I think they break even on the promo. BRP reduces their cost by $300 and they pass that along to you.

Of course the whole idea is to increase sales. So in that respect, I suppose they do make more money.

I see poeple that have leftover trailers that they are marking down 800-1000 online. Wonder if they will be able to use that promo as well??

They would get extra money if you didn't know about the promotion and they didn't let you know about it.

The promo costs are shared, according to my dealer. Each one is different, so only the dealer knows how much his share actually is. As was said, the ones for merchandise certificates probably allow the dealer to break even after his costs are figured. Keep in mind that promo participation is at the dealer's discretion. Some participate, and some don't. Always ask if they are honoring the current promotion.

Good price!!! I just put a deposit on one about 4 hours away in NC. They said that they could do $200 of the promo in gear and I got it for $3000. Was hoping for the full $400, but its still a good deal. So road trip time. Now if I can get my trailer hitch back (it came in damaged and UPS picked it up to inspect and I am waiting on them). Thanks for all the comments and guidance though!!!!

It depends on their status... a platinum dealer will get more.

They only get a portion of it and eat the rest
