RIDE FOR KIDS CHICAGOLAND JULY 17

We started at Nielsen's in Lake Villa IL. at 7:00 am and then rode to Elgin IL. to start the scenic escorted ride at 9:30. I sure am thankful the lunch after the ride was in the Air conditioned community center.It was hot out there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great ride Great People:spyder2:

It was an awesome day to ride. We met a couple more Spyder owners who had never heard of Spyderlovers...Should have more new members :)

Here are the fun facts:

Lake Villa police has a tricked out Spyder used for traffic control among other things...cops are getting on a bandwagon :) ha

We met a couple of BRP reps...one named Luke (rep for IL and WI) Quebec plates but works out of Wisco...fun fact is that his RT broken down as the first leg of the ride started...even BRP guys are struggling at times. There was also an IT guy from BRP...nice guy. BRP gave him an RS for a weekend to enjoy this event.

Last, as expected, HD owners were all of us...mostly curious. One genius asked with a cynical smile...you don't need a motorcycle license, right? it is the way he asked that bugged me.

Let's hope, next year turn out of Spyders is greater!!
