As some of you may recall there has been some discussions here about a solution for towing a mobility scooter with our :spyder2:'s. Today the Mrs. and I went to the Abilities Expo (near Chicago) and found our solution. We bought a new type of folding scooter thay weighs in at only 52lbs and folds up like a piece of luggage (see link below). :shemademe_smilie:

Got home and called our favorite dealer (close by at just 400 miles away) and Len hooked us up with a new 2010 RT trailer and hitch plus installation. Since the ryde down is 8+ hours and an over night stay Len also is providing a loaner :spyder2: for the evening.

Cowtown and Len are no doubt just the greatest people to do business with.:clap: This will allow us to take longer rydes and allow my wife to get around at our destination.

I'll post pictures when we get the scooter . . .

Looks like you found a great solution! I've never seen one that folds that compactly. Best of luck and happy :spyder2: riding.

As promised . . . I went down this week (yes, in the 100+ temps to see Len and get my new RT622 trailer. Here are the pics:

1) New trailer
2) New mobility scooter (total weight with battery 54 lbs)
3) New scooter folded up
4) New scooer in trailer

Now when we ride my wife will be able to get around at our destination. If anyone is interested in the scooer I got it at:

www.gomobilityscooters.com (http://www.gomobilityscooters.com) but cannot recommend them due to terrible customer service.

Nice color on that RT and 622 by the way!
