Very nice demo of the Drift! I have done some testing with mine but being laid up with a bum knee for 2 months has slowed me down to near halt.

Two related things I sure would like to hear some input about:
1. Guidance on use of the various speed settings (25,30,50,60) when shooting vids at 720 in different situations.

2. Video Editors (for Windows) for simple basic editing of the Drift .MOV video files. I have looked at several but sure would like to hear what most people are using.

Thanks for sharing - I enjoy riding videos from areas I will never see from the seat of a bike! I don't think we that much flat land in the entire state..

I will refrain from any comments about the music or "special effects".

I am no expert but this is what I have been told in the past. At 60, you have 60 frames a second, things should move smoothly. At 30, its 30 frames, giving things a little more jerkyness to them, it takes in a little more light, and gives it more of a film like appearence. Generally, shooting in 60fps is preferred. Also it is better for action and moving shots. You can also do slow motion when shots are done in 60fps. In low-light situations you should use 30fps or 24fps.
60p is great for sports and motion but should be used in outdoor situations, on bright sunny days.

muvee has a free trial (I think). It is basic 3 click editor.
cyberling.com has free trial for powerdirector9. This program is more hands-on editing you have total control.
