Comfort seat, Ultra Touring windshield???

About to close the deal on a new 2009 RS. Looking at add-ons and wonder about folks experiences with these two options: the Comfort Seat and the Ultra Touring Windshield. I'm used to a good custom seat and a taller windshield on my BMW.

Especially with the taller windshield, If you do any highway riding you'll find the stock shield while sporty won't block enough of the wind blast.

I have both on my '09 and they are MUCH better than stock. Search Google with the parts numbers to find the best price. The Commfort seat lists for about $429 I found it this way for $325. I'm 6' 1" and set tall in the saddle and the windscreen is about 2" too short to cut the wind down across the top of my helmet and the wind noise that comes with it.

I had the 23" touring windshield on the bike but it was too short (I'm 6' 1") wind and bugs nailed me right in the forehead. Went with the 25" on robobrackets and it is perfection.

I have both 25" touring windshield and comfort seat. I love them. I do have a lot of wind noise but I'm 6'2". I even have an extra 25" windshield. Also remember if you put on this windshield and you plan on the up and out mirror extensions you would have to cut the windshield.:spyder2:
