In conjunction with the 11th annual Gavers Community Cancer Foundation.

I would like to invite you to come ride with me for the 1st annual Woodstock Spyder Ryde for Cancer in conjunction with the Gavers Community Cancer Foundation's 11th annual Motorcycle Ride and Run. Steve Gavers is a good friend of mine and is a cancer survivor. He recently came to me and asked to lead the ride on my Spyder RSS. Being eager to help out such a worthy cause, I agreed and decided to organize a Spyder Ryde to help bring out some more Spyder Ryders to this great event. Please se the flyers about the events and RSVP to us either through email at jim@jimpotts.com or call 815-338-0640. I would love to have a huge Spyder showing at this event and am looking forwarding to raising money for cancer while ryding my Spyder with you and a group of 100_ other Spyders and bikes. Hope to see you there.
Sincerely, Jim Potts

I've been in contact with Jim and he woulod like to ryde over to this event as a group. So . . . . here's some suggestions:

1) Some of us are meeting up at the STarbucks at the corner of 60/83 in Mundelein (1050 N Rt 83, Mundlein IL) at 7:45 to ryse over to Jim Potts.

2) Meet at Jim Potts (1033 Wanda Ln., Woodstock IL 60098) at 8:30am.

If you PM me with your name and phone number I will get this info to Jim and get the registration process started for you.

We can also take this time to discuss future ryding events - formal or informal.

It would be great to meet up with you before the ride on the 23rd.

This additional ride is being led by Jim Potts so it may end up a Spyder group ride for the most part. :ohyea:

Ryde safe and we'll see everyone Sunday morning.

What time are you guys riding in Burlington?

Papa

here's my best guess. If the ride starts at 10 (per the schedule at the top of this discussion) with one stop I'm guessing we will be in Burlington by 11:30. Add lunch and other activities and I'm guessing we'll be done in the 1:30 - 2 ish time frame (just my speculation)..

I was just out at The Motor Group and the turn out is looking pretty good. I think Jim said around 30 Spyders. That is a big number for a local event. Should be fun! :ohyea:

Can't wait :ohyea:It should be quite a sight when 30 Spyder show up to ride with a 100 or so 2 wheelers.
