Maybe check some of them before you go. Bisbee, Tombstone, White Mountain area (has the twisty 191 HWY)...all fire damaged, some of it still smokey and burning.

Don't know about White Mountain, but Bisbee and Tombstone are not fire damaged.

The fires in Morenci, Greer, Alpine along 191 HWY, Eastern Arizona border area rides and those near Sierra Vista have been smoked out if not damaged by fire. Go investigate if you like, but be ready for a smokey enviroment. There is some good containment, but it may be a little while still before all is clear.
