Any one interested in going to this. I would love to go and get a few spyders out there. Starts in Santa Ana and ends in Lake Irvine at a blues festival. Price includes admission and parking to the festival. This is a 70 mile police escorted ride and all the info is on the site.

This looks like a really cool ride.......Blues Festival  If I didn't have something all ready planned I would go. Looks like this is an annual event so next year should happen for me. I will pass this info on to other Spyder friends!

So how was it? Anybody take photos? Is this something worth considering for next year. My bike still wasn't running and we had previously planned on going to Julian which we did. This is a biker friendly town.
We also stopped at Santa Ysabel Casino and left with some of their money too!

Their FB has all the pics from the takeoff. I heard there were some 700 bikes. Lets just say that there were many upset people that entire stretches of freeway and PCH were shutdown.

The Blues festival was a blast although note to self for next year... BRING A HAT FOR THE SUN!!!!

On a short note..... The people were fun, made some new friends, and our 3 :spyder2: got more attention than ANY other chopper around. :ohyea:

Next year we need to roll in 20 :spyder2: deep

I'd be pissed off too for someone closing the fwy and pch down for a bunch of bikers. Its hard traveling on those stretches during normal hrs.

Two weeks ago I and 500 other bikers (most of us probably Patriot Guard Riders) escorted a Vietnam Wall duplicate from Ontario to the city of Orange. No escort. On a weekday to boot. Man, what a zoo that was!
