Members and friends of our riding club will be meeting in Benicia, CA at the Chevron station at 2054 Columbus Parkway at 8:30AM with a 9AM departure time.

After fueling up, we'll take a 4 1/2 hour, 150 mile ride out through the Napa Valley, along the Silverado Trail, then up past the west side of Lake Berryessa where we will take an extended break, then we'll continue up towards Clearlake and head east on scenic highways 20 and 16 over to the Cache Creek Casino and Resort about 20 minutes west of Woodland and I-5. Those wanting to make a weekend out of it can choose to stay overnight and enjoy the area. There is lodging in nearby Woodland.

Take note, we will be traveling on Berryessa-Knoxville Rd. This road, although paved, has areas of uneven pavement and gravel. If you take this road soon after a rain, there are some water crossings that have been known to be un-passable. This will not be an issue for us, but just so you know. Also, depending on if it actually decides to start warming up for us, this area can get particularly hot. Dress and prepare appropriately.

For more information and details on this ride, and other upcoming rides and events, please visit our website at http://sranorcalbayarea.club.officelive.com (http://sranorcalbayarea.club.officelive.com/) and check the 'Event & Ryde Calendar'.

And don't forget to register for our first annual Spyders in the Redwoods (http://www.spydersintheredwoods.com/) rally in scenic Humboldt County (Eureka), scheduled for August 2 - 4, 2011.

Happy Spydering!!
