Bah.. fairly normal for this time of year. Can't really avoid it. Had those forecasts at the other Smokies events and and things always turned out just perfect.

Think Frogg Toggs. Worked for us over spring break on the BRP.

It's been pretty hot here and I won't mind a little rain, it won't last long if we get any. You really can't forecast that far out anyway. This works best. :2thumbs:

The weather rock is what they use at the Mount Washington Valley Airport to tell pilots the weather before taking off. They have been using this for years. It must work???

After what we had for rain on the way to Spyderfest, I can't imagine any rainfall at maggie Valley will even begin to compete - and of course we all survived that nicely and still had a great time

The aviation weather rock has one additional line. It goes "If you can't see rock, don't fly".:roflblack::roflblack:

I'm trying to find my dictionary so I can look up the meaning of the word "rain". Seems I've heard it before but I can't remember just where.

I feel really bad for you guys in the drought sections of the country. I really do. If it would help, you're welcome to come up to Michigan. My lawn needs to be cut again thanks to all this danged rain! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

OK, not so funny to you guys down south. I do hope you get some much needed rain soon.

Today, I'm seein for Maggie Valley 16th through 20th, low to mid 50s in the mornins, and mid to high 70s in the day. Some chances 30 - 40% scattered T-Storms. Lookin pretty good to me. (in that it's 92 here right now at noon time and dry as a bone)
