I am glad that I invited all to attend the the 2011 Wisconsin Road Run. It looks like I had great timing for that invite. I look forward to seeing all of you fellow spyder riders at the event and beyond! I have since posted a new thread on the main forum to get even more interest. Thanks guys and gals for supporting riding in Wisconsin for breast cancer.

If you look at the photo albums there is a Spyder with a pink bra. I think it would be cool if all the Spyders showed up with a pink bra on their :spyder2: I think I'm going to go with a strapless model for my :spyder2: :yes: Here's another idea. Maybe us Spyder ryders could meet someplace before the run and then arrive altogether at the starting place clad in our pink bras. :ohyea:

I will be taking hwy 41 N to US 10 W, then about 10 miles of back roads to Woodeye's bar. I think that is where registration is Saturday morning at 10:30AM.
Does anyone wan't to meet somewhere on this route or at Woodeye's?
I think it would be fun if we all meet and ride to the registration together.
I am open to any ideas to a meeting place.

Ecklund motorsports would be the perfect place to meet. Good sized Spyder dealer. But road construction on their exit Is closed and getting there is a pain. Also If you are north bound on 41 you can not exit west on 10. The best idea would be to exit at County Trk II. We could all meet at the Kwik Trip on the corner of county Trk II and 45. Everyone can top off and we can ride in to Winneconne together around 10:00.

Sounds like a great plan. My mistake, I thought google said to exit on hwy 10, but it said to exit 120 towards US-10.
Do you happen to know the exit number?
I will try to plan on being up there before 10:00.

Looks like we may have a group of up to eight coming up for the ride which includes three couples who have not posted yet :yes: We will be coming up I-90 - 151 - 26 - 41 - 45 - 116. We plan on staying the night and hitting the EAA museum on Sunday :yes:. We all met up at the Woodstock run this weekend and had a blast and are looking forward to getting together :chat: again.

Yes 45 is not an option. That exit is closed. If your are going straight to Winneconne taking 76 to 116 is correct. But if you want to meet up with us at Kwik Trip in Winchester and ride in together (leaving Kwik Trip at 10) take 76 to Wincherster Rd/Cty Tk II. Then east/left to Kwik Trip just past 45.

Just got back from the poker run. Holy crap was that fun:2thumbs:
Great spyder turn out, about 20. Thanks to the Illinois group that made the ride up. Great group of people. Made some new friends. LeRoy Butler was awesome. can't wait for next year. If you didn't make it this year, make sure you plan on it next year. :thumbup:

My wife Jacki and I wish to thank all the spyder riders that attended the 2011 Wisconsin Road Run. We had a blast and it was it great to meet each and every one of you. The event was a success and we can't wait to see you guys again next year on 07/21/12 for the 2012 Wisconsin Road Run. Jeff, thanks for inviting us up! We all had a great time :2thumbs:. We spent the night and visited the EAA museum which was great. All total I drove 430 miles and thos that came up from Chicago had about another 100. Even with all the bad weather predicted we never got wet.

Had a great time riding with my fellow spyder riders. It was nice to meet and get to know everyone.
The day started out shaking but got a lot nicer verry fast.
The only time we got wet was from the farmer, which by then was a welcome shower.
The ride was well organized and we had a great leader, thanks Jeff.
Being able to meet LeRoy Butler was a nice start for the day.
Looking forward to next year.
