We are signed up to go to the Spyders in the Redwoods this August. I was checking out the different rides that were scheduled and one of the alternate rides is the Lost Coast (http://www.pashnit.com/maps/MattoleMap.htm) (Mattole Rd) ride. See Map.

Looks like a fun ride! Anyway I came across this picture of the bridge at Honeydew, CA and was wondering how our three wheel Spyders would do on a bridge like this?

Dose anyone have any experience with this?

I have never taken my :ani29: across a bridge like this but from the pic the wood running from end to end are just wear strips for car tires so that the tires do not wear away the wood running from side to side. The wood running from side to side is tight together and you will not have a problem driving your :ani29: on the bridge. The :ani29:'s rear tire will ride between the boards running length wise will probably be bumpy , drive slow and you will be fine. I have driven cars and snowmobiles over bridges like this before.. The sign in your pic says 15mph for buses and trucks so weight will not be an issue.:D . Looks like a great ride

I have a bridge exactly like that on my neighborhood loop road. Rear wheel goes down the center--bumpity, bumpity.

And that's how I crossed the covered bridge that's in my avatar.
