I posted several weeks ago about a possible ryde to stroud for lunch so the tulsans could come down to stroud also. I did not get any replies but I dont think anyone is reading or subscribed to the oklahoma forum of spyder lovers. let me know if you are doing either. if you subscribe to the oklahoma forum it it will send only those new blogs to you private email.

Thanks for the tip! Stroud or even Stillwater would be a nice ride but the kicker for me it would have to be on a Sunday (have to work on sucky O Saterdays)! :gaah:

Sorry for the late post here, but I just started following this site. Had my Spyder for about 3-months now and loving it. I have been looking for a Tulsa group to get with. The only problem has been the heat.:( Hard to ride in 105+ days. Stillwater would be a great ride. Planning on riding my this fall to watch my 'boys take the Big-12; I hope. Would love to see some group rides get organized. I agree with another poster, if you think people react when they see one :spyder: coming down the road, how do you think they would react seeing an entire group? :yikes:

Stutzmason,

You are right about having to ride down into Texas to see the championship game. However, Mac is going to have to find some way to get his boys to play for him this year. I was kina surprised to see them slump last year. I don't expect that to happen too often though. He is usually a pretty go motivator.

I might have to think about ryding down to Austin to see my 'boys play the Horns. Should be a good game again this year.

I hope so ...It is always nice when your team wins ... but variety is nice also .... and the last few years have been some very entertaining games between the Horns and Cowboys ... and as long as one of us beats the Sooners I will be happy.

Been trying to stay cool :(. Ryding in the mornings and cutting it off before it gets too hot. Took a ryde this weekend from T-town down through Beggs, Bristow, Drumright and back home. Had to stop in at Joseph's in Drumright for lunch. By the time we got back home, it was pretty toasty. Will be glad when some cooler weather sets in. Just hope it does not drop from 110 to 35 overnight. :gaah:

We are out quite a bit on ours and I have only seen 4 or 5 other spyders out. This summer we rode to niagra falls and except for around cowtown in Cuba we still only saw about 3 the whole time we were gone. There are a lot more than you think you just never see anybody.

Let's grab a byte (not to be confused with eight bits) and see what we can come up with. A late breakfast, say 10 or so, works for me unless of course you have the 9 to 5 to deal with.

:roflblack: And two bytes, or more, to get a word in...

Unfortunately, I still do the desk jockey thing. Maybe on the weekend or on a Friday? I get every other Friday off. I know there are other ryders around this area...

I completely understand. This Saturday (Jun 9) is supposed to be in the mid 80's, nice weather even if it's only to take a short ride to grab some lunch. Might I suggest Los Cabos in Jenks? Name the time. Anyone else up for meeting chime in.

They open at 1100 so a little before should be good in case there's a queue. How 'bout meeting in the SW corner of the Mabee Center parking lot (NE corner 81st & Lewis) about 1030ish? We can make our way to Los Cabos from there. Wife will be along so ride 2 up if you can.

Weather looks a little warmer than expected a couple days ago but we're in OK after all. Hope it holds. Rode through the Spyder wash on our way home from Venita last Friday. Not my preference.
