Cat, I'd love to join you, but @ 260 miles - one way - I have to pass. Perhaps some of the others (fully retired) up here, like Sly & Dan, can pop down for this event?

Looking forward to seeing you in August though, we're going to come to Grants Pass via Bend. It will add 100 miles, and add Crater Lake to the trip… and be a good break-in for our two weeks in Montana and Wyoming.. :ohyea:

Yeah, I know it'd be a long ways for you . . . hoping there may be other Spyderlovers around that we haven't met yet or someone may be passing thru wants to stop in.

We've got a lot more stuff in the planning stages, including Crater Lake, Bend, and Depoe Bay. Also a big show & shine at Seven Feathers in Canyonville.

Looking forward to seeing you in August!

Hey Cat,
Sorry, can't make the Parade. We're heading over to Baker for the Hell's Canyon Rally in early June. And our next big ride will be down to Eureka in August. We're going to be heading down Hwy 101 to take in the ride along the coast. Hope we can hook up another time.

Final preparations are underway for tomorrow's Boatnik parade event in Grants Pass. The first time Spyders have been invited!

Our dealer/sponsor Ted at WaterWorld in Medford is sending over three Spyders -- one RT and two RSs, including a Phantom.
Looks like we'll have a total of seven Spyders and will display most stock options available.

The weather as always is unpredictable... so who knows. But rain or shine, it's gonna be a blast.
It won't be the first time we ryde in the rain, and it sure won't be the last! :D
After all, we already know that Spyders aren't afraid of the rain.

We don't mind the rain; in fact, prior to the parade this morning, it was drizzling on us in the staging area. But thankfully (for the spectators and exhibitors) when it was time to roll, it cleared off. (check out pics on theSOreSpyders Facebook albums)

We had a great time but after the parade, Vaughn and I packed up and headed home and ran into a torrent of rain and hail. Vaughn was on the RS, and I was behind him on the RT with the trailer PLUS our dog Bad Leroy Brown in his carrier on the backseat. We were on the backroads and all got soaked before we could find a place to pull over and suit up. Then we rode half a mile down the road and drove out of it. It made for the perfect day! :roflblack: :roflblack:
