Neat to watch but I believe the video has been tampered with. Once the balls are set into motion, the distance they swing from side to side would diminish over time but these are not. They continue to swing the same distance for almost the entire time until right near the end. I could be wrong but that is what I am seeing. Jerry

I'm not a mechanical engineer so I can't agree or disagree. I can say that it is fascinating to watch it go from one movement to the next.

After watching this again, I do think its a legit video. The distance the balls swing does diminish over time. Its more pronounced at the end as the less they travel, the less they will tend to travel.

Quoted from Answers.com: It is Newton's First Law of Motion that states: An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted upon by an unbalanced force; An object in motion will remain in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. This is also known as the Law of Inertia.
