Just got an offer from a friend to use their place just 23 miles from Cherokee, no charge. Offered a list of local eating places and nice rides also. Now that is what you call "Friends" :2thumbs:. Now to convince my son to make the ride on the RS. :chat:

Marcia and I rode from Stecoah to Ashville today thru Maggie Valley. Found the Event Grounds and Maggie was not very busy. Passed 1 Spyder:spyder2: on the road. Beautigul riding weather today temps 60-65:ohyea:. There are still some spaces at the Iron Horse for the weekend of the event.

I think that was me you saw today, on my black RT on hwy 28. Weather up here is great, but getting cool for a day or so. The gap was pretty much empty.

My dilemma has been resolved. I will ride up as planned with the FL Express and will stay at Mike's in Atlanta from the 16th on and plan to meet up with the Express for the ride home on Sunday. Mike and I will make the one and a half hour ride to Maggie Valley each day. My issues are resolved and Maggie Valley here we come! :2thumbs:

At least I got my 4" risers on and mirror extensions and love the difference in the ride. Oh yeh, He put the missing air dam in also and sure did cool the temp down. CJ
