I will be in Kansas City for a Harley Sportster Event :doorag:(my earlier life) then headed to Maggie Valley and Lamonster's BBQ. I'll be leaving KC on the 12th and this will gived me several days to get to Maggie Valley with a leisurely jaunt thru TN and NC.:yes: I don't suppose there is anyone who would wish to accompany me.:dontknow:

there's quite a few hotels in the area: hampton inn, holiday inn, comfort suites, baymont, magnuson...

i called around some today & harrah's cherokee hotel & comfort inn had no rooms

im currently considering hampton inn

Just got an offer from a friend to use their place just 23 miles from Cherokee, no charge. Offered a list of local eating places and nice rides also. Now that is what you call "Friends" :2thumbs:. Now to convince my son to make the ride on the RS. :chat:
