I was told last night to use Honda (New formula not sure I like that idea) or Plexus.

Thoughts?

They've both gotten high ratings here from those that have used them. I just installed graphics so I'll be heading in a different direction.

I got turned on to "Original Bike Spirits" which is the same as the original Honda Polish.

Can't remember where I got it. Do a search for it. That's what I did. It's convenient spray in a can. I still use Plexus for the windshield and my helmet visor. I keep a small can of Plexus in the trunk with me all the time. And a microfiber cloth. Very handy.

Thank you all for your input.

I purchased both the Plexus and Lamonster's recommendation of Lucas Slick Mist.

Conditions...
Washed yesterday, drove to the office today and did it in the parking lot
52f
sunny
direct sunlight
handful of micro towels (Dry)

LOVE the Slick Mist. I put it on everything but the headlights and windshield. I did try a spot, but it "Looked" clean and had the rainbow affect... No good. Took all the water spots off the chrome, turned all the black part black again, and left a very nice "Slick" surface to boot. And quite frankly left a more brilliant metallic look than before.

While on the "Black" parts. A very good example of the performance of this is the rear latches for our trunks. It turned the greyish color to a solid black like when brand new.

Now the Plexus... What I found is the Plexus is actually a pretty darn good product. Man I thought the windshield was actually already clean, and I was incorrect.

This product made the windshield crystal clear! So I rapidly went to the headlights, blinkers and taillights to have a very pleasing end result.

For now I think I will see how they are for the long haul in this combination. At this point I cannot be happier with the end results.

Just an FYI. We drive our Spyders in nearly all weather conditions. We ryde in the downpours, thunderstorms etc. This is now our 2nd vehicle and will remain this way. I mention this because folks that are only ryding in sunny conditions will most likely not see as many changes to their Spyder as I do with these products.

This means I am going down roads with the de-icer and whatever else they use to prevent cars form sliding off the roads. Plus whatever the rains float to the top of the Asphalt during the rains. So our Spyder gets ugly in one trip to the office.

Hope this helps someone

That's all I have used since I have my :spyder: and it looks like the day I brought it home. I use it on everything including the windshield. and wheels.

Based on these comments, I think I will try the Lucas Slick Mist. I like that it is in misting bottle not a spray can. Honestly? I've had trouble with the Original Bike Spirit cans themselves having issues. Never have and issue with the Plexus spray cans. I don't get it. But this is what I have observed.

I hope my local VIP auto store or PepBoys has this stuff.
