View Full Version : San Antonio/Houston Meet/Eat

I've been communicating with some of the San Antonio ryders about another meet/eat on possibly Saturday, December 11th. I've suggested a possible meet at the Klosel Steak House and Bar (http://kloesel.com) in Moulton which is a little over 100 miles for most of us. For the San Antonio folks it's about the same distance. Moulton is located on Highway 95 south of I-10 and north of Shiner. I've never eaten at Klosel's, but I've heard some good comments from folks that have. They've got a varied menu and reasonable prices. What do you Houston area folks think about the date and location?

Hopefully, my spiders are out of the shop with the new dps's and upgrades. If so, I'm planning on going.

Normally, when we head that direction we'll meet up in Brookshire at a truck stop (Flying J) on I-10 and FM 339. We've got folks from all over the Houston area that join up for a ride. I live in the Cypress area and depending on how you plan on coming, I and a Tomball ryder can probably meet up with you somewhere before the Bookshire meetup. More details about all of this will be posted later next week. Hope you can make it.

It was good meeting you at the Mission in Brenham today. As you were also riding a Spyder, I didn't feel so all alone. :D I bought my Spyder about three months ago, have put on 4000 miles, and until today had not met another Spyder rider face to face.

Please put me on your list of those meeting at the Flying J in Brookshire on December 11. It will be good to link up with some other riders who share a common interest.

You want to meet up at the Love's station at 2920 and 290 and head over to Brookshire from there? Pick a time looks to be less than an hour and a half from Brookshire, Waller to Brookshire about thirty minutes, meet about 9:00?

That sounds good. That would also be a good meet up with the Spyder ryder from Livingston. Depart Brookshire 9:45--10:00? What do you think?

Sounds good to me, this place looks like it has some good food, showing a 20% chance for rain so far everything looks good.

Sorry we missed you guys. We had a party to go to on Friday night and over slep.

Turned out good through, we bought a new RT Audio today (early christmas :yes:).

We will catch you guys next time.

Had a great time yesterday. Great to put some faces to the names I've seen on the forums. Rode 310 mi. and still made it back before the front came through. Looking forward to the next one. :2thumbs: Steve.

Had an absolutely great time yesterday and really enjoyed meeting all of you. A special thanks to Glenn for getting this going.

I am looking forward to the next ride. Maybe we can find some good twisties!
