I would suggest something like this for a controller (this is the one I use)... a switch will always cause it to be too warm or too cold... IMHO.

i ride all winter in new england so i bought heated corbin seat ...to me waist of money ....its like great your butts warm but everything else feels colder ... i dont even use heat ....:cus:
