Hey I might be moving to FL in the near future and was curious if anyone knows if I would be required to take the training test before I could get the motorcycle endorsement on my license down there? I currently have a TN license with the endorsement and was hoping that I could just convert it once I got down there.

As a Florida resident I think I would stay in TN unless you absolutley have to move. I love TN every time I have been there. But I digress. Here is a link to help you get more info about your move. Hope it helps

HAHA Well you obviously have only been to middle/east TN (Great area's). I have lived here in west TN (Memphis) for the past 20 years though and have been trying to escape for the past 12. All we have is Crime, Crime Corupt Politics, Crime, Crime LOL

Thanks for the link i'll check it out.

This may help too.

Out-of-state Newcomers
If your out-of-state license is current and already has a motorcycle endorsement, you won't be required to take additional tests to get the endorsement on your new Florida license. That is, as long as if you are younger than 21, you have completed a Florida-approved safety course. If you are older than 21 but haven't completed an approved safety course, you will need to take and pass the motorcycle knowledge and skills test.
