The TricLED lights I had been waiting for arrived, and are now installed on my Spyder. I still have a couple of more things I would like to do with lighting, but this definitely goes a long way in making my Spyder even more visible. Since I know how much everyone likes pictures, let's get to it. The still pictures were taken in daylight conditions, while the video was done after sunset.

I have the amber LED fender tip replacement light installed:

This is a close up of the front fender where the amber TricFenderz install:

This is the rear view of the fender with the TricFenderz and ESI LED Mud Flap lights installed:
http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1039&pictureid=11917

I installed white rings around the stock headlights.
This is what they look like when off:

This is what they look like on:

This is what you see from the side:
http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1039&pictureid=11920

I used amber rings around the BRP fog lights.
This is what they look like when off:

Here is a side view:

We used another set of the amber fender lights and placed them under the side body panel:
http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1039&pictureid=11924

I also had email and phone conversations with Reggy about wanting red lights for the back of my Spyder, that would function like the running/brake lights. He went to work on that idea, and came up with these 12" red strips. I should have drilled the under seat pan, and installed them with the wires at the bottom; however, they are not as noticeable when you step back from the Spyder:
http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1039&pictureid=11925

Wiring them in was fun, as they came with 3 wires and 2 of the wires have very small inline diodes on them. I bought Posi-Tap connectors for making the connections. The Spyder looked a little like Frankenstein's Monster at this point, but it all worked out in the end:
http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1039&pictureid=11929

We also got one of the Puck lights for each of our Spyders. These things are small, but put out a surprising amount of light. Mine is mounted in the top center section of the trunk.
This is turned off:

This is on and shining nearly straight down:
http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=1039&pictureid=11927

This is with it rotated on its base some, and pointing into the corner of the trunk:

Overall the installation was straightforward. In my case I also have the 4 zone control box with remote, so routing the wires took the most time. I placed the headlight rings in zone 1, fog light rings in zone 2, and side panel lights in zone 4. I have other lights coming later for zone 3. The TricFenderz are wired into the fender tips lights, and act as turn signals, along with the Day Runners and Mud Flap Lights, as I have the ESI Fender Tips Kit installed. I was able to use the existing Posi-Tap connector to make that connection.

So, as stated in the title of this thread, Can You See Me Now? :D

Hi Dave. :D

The light rings are a fairly easy install. Remove the gauge cluster. You need a 9/64 drill bit to drill a hole at 3:00 on the left side of the cougar head next to the headlight, and at 9:00 on the right side when looking at the Spyder. Run the wires up into the console area and wire them up. They came with a LED toggle switch that I could have mounted on the Spyder using a 3/4" drill bit; however, I wanted the option to control them better than that and went with the controller box.

Edit to add: The fog light rings do not require any drilling, for those that may be wondering.

What color did you go with? I have to say they are much brighter at night than I thought they would be based on the daylight pictures.

Thanks Trooper. Just making my Spyder a little more mine. :D

When you start ryding around at night with all the lights on, think the number of UFO sightings reported is going to go up.

Does this mean you had to go into the connection at the A arms like for the ESI Dayrunners. I'm one of the ones that is not able to disconnect with the two finger method and instead of taking 5 minutes, it took a lot longer? I want to get TricFenderz; but, do not want to go through the aggravation I went through when installing the Dayrunners. Don't get me wrong, I love the Dayrunners. By the way; excellent job.

Thanks for all of the compliments so far. The funny thing is we actually live in the back woods. If nothing else it will at least give all the deer something interesting to look at. I just got back in from a ryde, and haven't ridden it at night yet. I am hoping to do that soon and see how things go. We have already had approaching cars slow way down when we were trying to turn into a place. Most likely they were trying to figure out what Love2Ride's Spyder was as she was in the lead at the time. :D

You do not hook the TricFenderz up near the middle of the Spyder where the Day Runners connect. You actually connect these right at the fender tip light itself. They will come with a wire tap that worked quite well on my wife's Spyder. I experimented when running it through the same Posi-Tap connector that the Mud Flap Lights are hooked into, and that worked out great for me. This is not a difficult installation at all.

We were waiting to turn left onto our road and had a car approaching. It kept getting slower and slower, so I wasn't sure what was going on. It finally got to our Spyders and went by at about 5 mph at the fastest. They just wanted to see what they were.

A friend of mine was at an intersection one night when we went through it. My Spyder wasn't lit up totally yet, but my wife's was. He told me the next day they looked like some kind of space ships coming down the road, but you could definitely see them. :D
