Hi Ya'll,

After seeing the hitch on a RS at a rally, thinking on getting one but can't find the answer to one question.

The trailer I am getting has a 12" high tongue height when level.

Will the BRP hitch match up?

Thanks.

Most motorcycle trailers have about a 12"-14" tongue height. The Spyder swingarm is about that height, too, so if your hitch is on the swingarm or near that height, your trailer will be level. It doesn't really matter too much, a few inches higher or lower will tow just fine, level or not.

I have a Bushtec trailer. My hitch connects to the frame. I wouldn't advise connecting a hitch to the swing arm. All hitches are connected to frame not the drive train. Hope that helped. :chat:

So 12" it is. Glad to know this. Going to order the hitch BRP made for the RT and adapt it to my RS.

Thanks for your replies.

The BRP hitch is mounted on the swing arms.
