Does anyone know if the second update worked to address performance issues by making the mixture of fuel/air more rich? I've been fiddling with my JB and I still get popping when coming out of coasting, esp. in 4th gear.

I'll continue to dial the numbers back a little, but I'm curious if the second update effectively increased performance, and by doing so, made the Spyder run less 'lean', as it was stock...

Also, I ran a total of 167.5 miles on one tank...must've been on vapors...went out for a 150 mile ride, with 17.5 miles on the odometer before I left. The bike took 5.565 gallons to fill it up...pretty close to empty, eh?

Yes. First update June 2009 folder content was:
1. Update for Spyder GS ECM SE5
2. Update for Spyder GS ECM SM5
3. Update for multilingual Spyder GS Cluster (SM5_SE5)
4. Update calibration for Spyder GS DPS
5. Update software and calibration for Spyder GS DPS
Second update: flash (1) or (2).

Thanks doc...I thought so as my old JB settings were definitely throwing too much fuel into the mix. After the first update, I didn't have to tweak things too much...it seems that after the second, I really have to dial things down a lot...
