Just thought I'd spread the good news...
It looks like we may be adding a second Spyder to our family soon. I have a couple really good local deals on some used 2008 models. I have my fingers crossed that the financing can go on without a hitch.
Wish us luck!

And not the one done in the john!!
After our trip, and the traffic jam in Denver in 90 deg weather, I am defiantly up for another Spyder.
I would prefer the pearl white SE..
I enjoyed two wheels on our 8Kmi journey, but I think I m ready to go to a Spyder apiece soon!
Let us know ASAP, and of course, WITH PICS!!

Well it's just about a done deal. We got the financing we were looking for, however we are getting a brand new out of the crate 2009 SM5. We'll be putting on the phantom kit cuz that's what the hubby wants. :ohyea:

Eh, about the same. I was hoping for a shorter term loan than 84 months. Of course it won't take me that long to actually pay it off.

Nice! Financing seems to be pretty good these days. Was looking at the numbers at the credit union - not bad! Although I won't be financing another bike just yet as much as I'd like to. I have to deal w/ the Charger coming off lease in a few months. To buy out or not to buy out - I sorta like the Beemers now.

Great stuff!!
So, a couple things:
1. Anything need to be done on her - fresh oil change, wash, etc...?
2. Any pictures yet?

It's going to be fun having a second one to mod. So far modifications currently in the works include:
Phantom Kit, foglights, comfort seat, dot reflectors on the mudflaps, LED third brake light, F1 EVO III smoked windshield, trunk spring kit, LED mudflap lights (signal/running), and a 12v outlet.
We're also considering for the near future:
Roadkrome trunk rack, GIVI V46 matte black trunk with clear lens (like the one on mine), handlebar risers, and tank bag.

Congrats...I just bought my 2009 in June ... SM5 holdover from the dealer with 34 miles on it. Walked out the door with it for $11,800 and a 3 year BEST Warranty included. Have almost 2k miles on it now and haven't had a single problem with it...running like a dream and more fun than my sportster.
