can we rent a Spyder anywhere around PDX?

Went and checked out the Spyder today in Portland. We are really interested in finding out if there is anywhere we could rent one for a couple days to take it on a road trip? Really want to buy one, but want to make sure it is something that would work for us? Anyone have any ideas?

The only place I've found on the West Coast is in the Bay Area - most of the dealers up here won't even allow a test ride off the lot!! BTW, the best prices are to be found in Bend...

SK Northwest will allow a test ride for an hour or so but thats about it.

I have only seen the Spyder rentals in San Fran area.

Chaparral Motor sports in San Bernardino rents them, but don't know the prices.
