View Full Version : Front Trunk Latch

Anyone have problems with the front trunk not latching? Doesn't happen all the time, but alway happens when I need to secure the Spyder when I'm out and about. Close it, then it pulls right back open. Slap it closed, then it doesn't latch again. I'm there for about 10-15 minutes before it finally grabs.

I had the same problem at one time. Went to the Dealer and they fixed it. They had to align it :2thumbs:

I had the same problem with mine originally. In fact at one point, I couldn't open it up at all. I kept hitting the unlatch button, and the mechanism would click, but I couldn't get the hood open until I just grabbed and pulled hard.
It was so embarrassing, my friends posted it:

I mentioned this to my dealer and they replaced the hood with a new one with the new design bar.
I haven't had a problem since then.
