Greetings, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ron; I have been riding two wheels for thirty two years. I started on a Husky in the dirt, to my current ride a 05 Busa.
In September of 09’ I was diagnosed with Lymphoma and secondary paralysis to the left leg. After radiation and chemo therapy I learned that my left foot would no longer work as before. (Drop foot).
At my stay in Hospital, I could hear bike’s going by and it made me long to ride. After I got out, I began my Physical therapy on the leg and it go’s well. I got an AFO brace and it helps tremendously, but still will not shift.
In March, a friend gave me a copy of Cycle World with a quick snip on the RT-S and I swear the man riding is wearing the same AFO brace in the pic as I wear. I though of course, this is for me! After a life time on sport bikes, I was interested in the RS, however at the showroom I fell in love with the RT-S.
I have never had a touring bike, though I’ve always wanted a Gold Wing. At 5’5 140. I went the sport bike way. I will continue my rehab and look forward to my new life of three-wheel touring.
I would like to thank Lamonster for this great site!

The Spyder has opened up the doors to many riders like you. I don't have a physical limitation but I love riding the Spyder, RT or RS they are both a blast to ride. Hope to see you on a Spyder soon.

Welcome! This is a great site and you'll love your Spyder. BRP has a great thing here with helping those with limited mobility ride again (or for the first time).

Welcome - I think you will find the Mile-High City a hotbed of Spyders - there seems to be lots of them there.

Good luck on your therapy and you will have lots of good rides ahead of you.
