Got this from a friend that's at the show in Austria. It was built for the show by Parotech (http://www.parotech.com/english/index.html). Lot's of detail went into this project.

. . . lots of work there.

Since it was an SE5, what was that where the SM5 shifter was?

I thought the seat treatment was great - especially with the passenger seat gone and with it built up to be a lower back support. Nice.

I thought the hood customization looked way better than stock.

Amazing how they kept the overall look, but changed just about everything.

That is so cool, I wonder how that exhaust sounds, it looks great, almost not there.

Very cool looking. Love the tires but my back wouldn't last to the corner clinic.

That is cool that they actually created a machine to look like the ones in the film. I am not sure about the handling, as it seems your body position is totally wrong and wouldn't provide much leverage for trying to get the thing through corners. I could definitely see this being trailered to a lot of shows, and it would be cool to take it down Main Street in Daytona as well.

Er... I missed what they changed that would affect position, unless it was the pegs? I'm not familiar enough with Spyders to notice the subtleties. I was seriosuly diggin' on those enclosed fenders, though.

Simply beautiful work. I love the line, how it flows out the back. That appeared to be a custom made swing arm, among other things. I don't think Ihave seen tires like that before either. Just wonderful! Thanks Lamont. That was fun to watch.

My comment was related to the other link posted for the company that actually made TRON Light Cycle replicas. I neglected to quote the link: http://www.wired.com/autopia/2010/11...n-light-cycle/ (http://www.wired.com/autopia/2010/11/get-your-very-own-street-legal-tron-light-cycle/) . Sorry about that.

The Parotech Spyder should ride and function just like a normal Spyder.
