Hello Just picked up my RT last Sat. Still in the learning curve. Too many years on 2 wheels.
Looking for shop manual for the 2010. Any suggestions?
Also the windscreen rattle is driving me nuts!

welcome I can relate to the learning curve. I have 1500 miles on my RT and I finally feel like I can ride it fairly well. I still blow a corner every once in a while. Can't help on the windsheild rattle except that I would check to be sure that all the fasteners were tight. Here is a link to a shop manual on CD on ebay. I have it and it's very good. Have fun on the new ride.

welcome

after 25+ years on 2 wheels I can relate. I never even rode a trike. If you still have the 2 wheelers, I hate to tell you, but they are going to have Spyder Envy....

I haven't had this much fun in a long long time. You'll absolutely love it. Seems like a lotta nice folks on this forum as well that can give some pretty sage advice.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I have the past 4 months.

welcome

If you want a hard copy of the manual I would talk to our sponsor Art at Burts

If you want one for your computer you might want to try ebay.

I got my manual from Midwest Manuals on Ebay. Not only is the manual great but I had a question about it and Midwest answered it within 10 minutes. Welcome and good luck!

I just noticed a windshield rattle yesterday. (or I think it is) I have not isolated it yet. It could be the lower pivot pin. Anyone else noticeing this? To night I cycled my windshield back down and then back to full up and did not notice it then ?

welcome:congrats:

:agree: the rattle sucks. Although, again this one of those things that BRP knows about but has no answer for. :(

Get to your dealer though, and get a formal complaint opened so then BRP has a case going on it.

Maybe if they get enough of us filing a case with our dealers they will have to get on it? :dontknow:

Ditto,
Can't say it's driving me nuts... I'm already there..:yikes: It is totally annoying however. Both our machines have the rattle. Not when moving windscreen up and down, but when going over road bumps. Someone will come up with a home grown fix... Too much talent here not to...Len

i thought if i ever go for an RT i would take windshield off replace with a really sharp piece of sheet metal and speed up power windshield motor so if someone sits on it that i don't want i can use it as a Guillotine :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
